Question: My SkyCaddie is displaying 999. What does this mean?
Answer:
"9999 or 999" is the maximum distance value your SkyCaddie attempts to display. There are a few reasons you may be seeing this value.
- Please make sure that the correct SkyCourse has been selected on your SkyCaddie. Selecting the wrong course will cause the SkyCaddie to measure distance from your current location to a different course much farther away (switching the distance type to "Miles" will show you how many miles you are, in this case).
- You may have your SkyCaddie distance information setup incorrectly. To change the distance information between meters, yards, and miles, please see "Switching Between Yards/Meters/Miles"
- If the other courses on your SkyCaddie show the correct yardage, there may be an issue with that particular course. Try sending down the Playlist again. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our technical support department so we may rectify the problem.
