No Tour Player uses yardage books derived from satellite images or flyovers. Neither should you. Other GPS rangefinders use second and third generation maps derived from third-party aerial imagery known to contain errors, such as:

ACCURACY

Ground mapping GPS technology can provide precise coordinates down to the sub-meter level, whereas satellite imagery may only have a resolution of a few meters.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

How Do I Register My New SkyCaddie® LX2?

Follow these steps to activate and register your SkyCaddie LX2:

Visit www.MySkyCaddie.com
Click on “Activate Your Product” in the top menu.
On your LX2, go to: MENU > INFO > ACCESS CODE to find your access code.
Enter the code on the website and click Submit.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your registration.
Once registered, sync your LX2 via Wi-Fi to complete setup.

How do I set the time on my LX2?

Follow these simple steps to set the correct time:

Press and hold the MENU button.
Scroll down and select SETTINGS.
Choose TIME.
Tap SET TIME.
Scroll up or down until the correct GMT time appears in the green box, then tap NEXT.
Select your Region (time zone) — Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific — and tap NEXT.
Scroll to set the Hour, Minute, and AM/PM, then tap OK.
Choose the date format MM/DD/YY.
Tap the back arrow to return to the main menu.

How do I sync the saved rounds from my LX2 to SkyGolf 360?

Scoring Info:

The LX2 lets you track and save your scores, including total score per hole, putts, greens in regulation (GIR), and fairways hit or missed (left or right).

The easiest way to sync your rounds and scores to SkyGolf 360 is via Wi-Fi, but you can also use Bluetooth through the SkyGolf 360 mobile app.

Wi-Fi Sync

To sync your LX2 using Wi-Fi:

Go to MENU > SYNC.
Select Wi-Fi.
Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password if prompted.
Once connected, press the back button at the top of the screen to return to the SYNC page.
Press SYNC and let the LX2 complete the sync process.

Note: If an update is available, it will install automatically, and your device may turn off and on during the process.

Bluetooth Sync

To sync your LX2 via Bluetooth:

On your smart device, download the SkyGolf 360 Mobile App from the Google Play™ Store or Apple® App Store.
Log in or create a SkyGolf 360 account.

Pairing your LX2 with the SkyGolf 360 app:

No, the LX2 does NOT support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

Most routers automatically switch to 2.4 GHz if 5 GHz isn’t supported. However, if your router has 2.4 GHz disabled, you will need to sync your LX2 via Bluetooth or USB instead.

How do I clean the charging port on my SkyCaddie LX2?

To keep your LX2 charging properly, it’s important to keep both the charging port and magnetic connector clean and dry. Here’s how to clean the charging contacts safely:

Wipe off any sweat, dust, or grass from the charging port and magnetic connector using a clean, dry cloth or towel.
If there’s tarnish or built-up grime on the gold contacts, follow these steps:

Moisten a clean cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol (just enough to dampen, not soak).
Gently scrub the four gold contact points on the underside of the LX2 face.
Important: Only scrub the contact points—avoid using alcohol on other parts of your LX2 to prevent damage.
Repeat scrubbing with fresh alcohol-moistened swabs until no debris comes off and the contacts look shiny.

Note: If your LX2 is replaced due to charging or syncing issues caused by dirty contacts, you may be charged the full retail price.

A Golf Course on My Favorites List Has an Update — What Should I Do?

If there are changes to a course you play, follow these steps to update the map pack or individual course:

Update Directly on Your LX2:

On your device, go to: Menu > Settings > Courses
Select Map Pack to view your current version.
Choose Update to install the latest map version.

Update via Your SkyGolf Account:

Log in to your SkyGolf 360 account.
Click on Courses in the top menu, then select My Courses.
If the course isn’t already on your list, add it.
On the right side of the course listing, select the course for download.
On your LX2, go to: Menu > Sync to Wi-Fi to update the course on your device.

Hoping It Works Better
Had and still use my older SkyCaddie GPS Watch with a larger font and easier to read. It never loses a signal, like the newer LX2. But, I'm still hopeful. The only reason I changed was because SkyGolf notified me that my older SkyCaddie Watch would no longer be supported.
Unfortunately, I'm now having charging issues with the new LX2. Customer support is very helpful, so hopefully, we'll get it worked out.

Still learning
Still learning how to use device. Have some difficulty finding hole 1 and hole 10, and some difficulty navigating due to my large fingers. After finishing a hole that is close to another hole, device brought up that close hole rather than the hole I was playing next. Have used it only five times, so still learning. It does work well, but, can be complicated during my learning curve.

Best Compact Watch GPS
I’ve had the SKYCADDIE LX2 for a year now, and it’s been reliable. The GPS is accurate, and the screen is brighter for sunny days compare to Garmin watches, it’s worth the money.
