I don't normally write reviews but I was so impressed with this pro5x. I've had a remarkable improvement in my game after trading in my Garmin. I can't recommend it enough to fellow golf enthusiasts who are serious about stepping up their game. Better than expected

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical to upgrade from my SG5 to this 5xpro but I've had it since the beginning of golf season and wow what a difference it has made. Granted my SG5 lasted 10 years so that's why I choose to stay with skycaddie but this 5x is even better than expected. The battery life is long, the screen is impeccable, and I don't have to use a cable anymore to sync it. Definitely give it a try.

I have owned and used several generations of Skycaddies, with this Pro5X as the most recent. Distances are very accurate, and the screen is bright enough to read. Battery life seems improved over prior versions. My only negative is that at times the screen changes too easily from one view to another.
A Must Have.

If you are a big yardage book guy, like I am, you will love the Pro 5X. I'm still learning the ins and outs of the different options, but I would highly recommend. The Pro 5X gives you the confidence you will need for layups and carries over obstacles from your location. The only thing that comes to mind, which may be needed down the road, I may need to purchase additional rubber straps for the cart mounts. I don't see where you can buy them separately on the website.

I got back into golfing after being away for 6 years. I joined a traveling league and others in the league didn't always give me good information on some of the courses I never played, so I bought the Pro 5X. Now they are asking me for yardage to hazards. The Pro 5X has helped my game.
The only negative I have experienced is my own doing. I went straight to using it, before reading/watching the demo's of it's features. Learning on the course it's always the best thing to do.
