A Golf Course On Your Favorites List Has An Update

 

Updating a map pack or individual course:

 

If there have been any changes to the course you play, Log into your SkyGolf account


Highlight COURSES at the top of the SkyGolf page and choose MY COURSES

Add the course to your list if not already added.

Select the Course on the right side of the course info to select them for download

On your SkyCaddie, Menu> Sync to Wi-Fi sync those course changes to your device.

 

Alternatively, on your SkyCaddie  Menu> Setting> Courses and choose Map pack which will show the map pack version – choose UPDATE

Cleaning the Charging Port On Your LX2 SkyCaddie
Make sure the charging port on your SkyCaddie LX2 and the magnetic charging connector on the USB charging cable are clean and dry. You can wipe off sweat, dust, or grass with a clean, dry cloth or towel. In some instances your SkyCaddie LX2 may require additional cleaning.

To remove tarnish or built-up grime on the gold contacts, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Moisten a clean cotton swap with isopropyl alcohol. Use only enough to moisten the swap – do not soak.

Step 2: Scrub the four golf contact points on the underside of the SkyCaddie Lx2 face.

IMPORTANT: Scrub only the contact points. Using isopropyl alcohol on other parts may damage your SyCaddie Lx2.

Step 3: Continue scrubbing the contact points with clean, alcohol-moistened cotton swabs until the swabs no longer pick up any debris and the contact points are shiny.

If your SkyCaddie Lx2 is replaced due to charging/syncing issues and the problem is found to be dirty contacts, you will be charged the full retail value of the product.

How do I register my new SkyCaddie LX2
Activating & Registering Your SkyCaddie LX2

1. Go to www.MySkyCaddie.com and click on “Activate a product” in the top menu. 2. Enter the access code from your LX2 which will be found here: MENU>INFO>ACCESS CODE. 3. Enter the code on the webpage and click submit. 4. Follow the onscreen steps to complete registration. 5. Sync your LX2 via Wi-Fi

Press and Hold the MENU button

scroll down to SETTINGS and tap to Select

choose - TIME

select - SET TIME

Scroll up/down so that correct GMT time shows in the green box and choose:

tap NEXT

Choose Region (time zone)- easter/central/mountain/pacific

tap Next

scroll up/down to select Hour/Minute/am/pm

tap OK

select MM/DD/YY

< tap back arrow to return to MENU

How do I SYNC My Saved Rounds to SkyGolf 360

Scoring:

The LX2 allows you to keep track of and save your score to sync with SkyGolf 360. You can track: Total score for each hole, Putts, GIR, and Fairways hit or missed, left or right.


The simplest and most convenient ways to sync your rounds and scores to SkyGolf 360 is to use WiFi, however you can do it via Bluetooth connection to the SkyGolf 360 mobile app.


Here's How:


WI-FI SYNC
Syncing to SkyGolf 360 on your LX2
1. Go to MENU>SYNC
2. Choose Wi-Fi
3. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi security password if required.
4. Once connected press the back button at the top of screen to go back to SYNC page .
5. Press sync and allow the LX2 to step through the sync process.

If an update is available, it will step through that process and this update may require your device to turn on and off.


BLUETOOTH SYNC
Syncing to SkyGolf 360 on your LX2

1.Using your smart device, go to the Google PlayTM Store or the Apple® App StoreSM to download the SkyGolf 360 Mobile App.
2. Log in with your username and password or create an account.

IMPORTANT: To complete the registration process, you will need to pair your SkyCaddie LX2 with the SkyGolf 360 app. Bluetooth Pairing To pair your SkyCaddie LX2 with SkyGolf 360:

1. Press and hold the MENU button until the Menu opens.
2. Select SETTINGS and press the OK button.
3. Select BLUETOOTH.
4. Select SYNC NOW. The LX2 will turn on Bluetooth and it will go to the “Pair Ready” screen. In the SkyGolf 360 mobile app, press the SYNC icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing process.

The LX2 does NOT support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
The LX2 does NOT support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

It’s not uncommon for devices to not support 5 GHz, and most routers fall back to 2 GHz if needed, unless the owner of the router has explicitly turned 2 GHz support off, in which case, you will need to Sync your LX2 via  Bluetooth or USB.
