A Golf Course On Your Favorites List Has An Update

 

Updating a map pack or individual course:

 

If there have been any changes to the course you play, Log into your SkyGolf account


Highlight COURSES at the top of the SkyGolf page and choose MY COURSES

Add the course to your list if not already added.

Select the Course on the right side of the course info to select them for download

On your SkyCaddie, Menu> Sync to Wi-Fi sync those course changes to your device.

 

Alternatively, on your SkyCaddie  Menu> Setting> Courses and choose Map pack which will show the map pack version – choose UPDATE

Charging the LX5 SkyCaddie Watch

Under the recommended conditions, a completely discharged LX5 battery should completely re-charge in about 1-2 hours when on the charging screen. Do not leave your LX5 attached to a charger or a USB port for over 24 hours. Do not charge the LX5 in a place where it could become over heated by direct sunlight, a stove, a fire, or other source of extreme heat.

Prior to charging or recharging, make sure the charging contacts and surrounding areas on your LX5 are dry and free of any dirt or debris to ensure proper electrical contact and to prevent corrosion. Fully charge the battery before each round.

ONLY USE AC chargers and USB cables that come with or are authorized for use with your LX5. The wrong adapters or cables may damage the LX5. SkyGolf does not recommend charging the LX5 via the computer. When using a USB wall charger, we recommend 100-240 input and 5.0 output voltage.

Use the enclosed magnetic clip/ USB cable to charge the SkyCadie LX5.

1. Align the magnetic clip on the back of the LX5 as shown.
2. Insert the USB Plug into a USB port on your computer, or a SkyCaddie wall charger (optional accessory).
3. If connected correctly, CHARGE screen will display. When fully charged, 100% Charge will appear on screen.

Be sure to clean the charging port on the back of the LX5 Watch periodically to ensure a proper charge and connection.

Does the LX5 connect via WIFI or BLUETOOTH?

A) The SkyCaddie LX5 is rated at 3 ATM water resistance. It is suitable for conditions typically encountered during golf to include splashes, rain, snow and casual water contact. It is not recommended for swimming, snorkeling or diving.”

Is there a RESET Button for the LX5?

How to RESET THE LX5:



• When the LX5 is OFF- Hold the Power button for 4 seconds to turn it on

• When the LX5 is ON- Hold the Power button for 2 seconds to show the power off prompt.

• If the LX5 is FROZEN/STUCK- Hold the Power button for 8 seconds to force a restart.

LX5 Game Tracking

Manual Shot Tracking With Your SkyCaddie LX5

 

First, you will want to log in to you SkyGolf 360 account and set up your golf bag. 

 

How To Use Shot Tracking: 

 

Start a new round by selecting on “Golf” from the menu, then scroll down to “Settings”, then to “Track Shots” and you will want to turn this feature on.

After this is turned on, you will tap on the back arrow on the left side of the screen and then start a new round. 

Once your SkyCaddie LX5 finds the course, you will see a golf ball icon in the bottom left. Tap on this icon to track your shot before you take your swing and then tap it again once you are at your ball. You will continue to do this for every shot you want to track. 

Once the round is completed, SYNC your SkyCaddie LX5 via WIFI to load the round data into SkyGolf 360, where you will be able to view the round.

AUTO ADVANCE ON THE LX5

The LX5 watch will ask the golfer if they are finished with hole 10 (as example) even with Auto Hole Advance turned on. If the golfer does not touch the screen, it will eventually advance on its own.

• Hold down the power button for 8 seconds.
• The device should reset and work fine.
• Send the Log Files for review.

The Auto Dim Feature automatically adjusts the brightness of your LX5 screen. The screen will DIM to extend battery life.
